A Grounded Sail suspends a moment of movement, capturing the tension of floaty fabric being fixed in a space. The fabric, usually lively and malleable, is grounded in space by a ready-made cement square, anchoring a breath of wind. This piece is made up of three components; sheer material, knitted cotton and a rock-like square. All materials are found and have been repurposed, breathing new life to these objects.
